about me
- lissa lowe
- charlotte + san francisco
- By day, award-winning bi-coastal brand architect at Lissa Lowe & Co. Formerly held global advertising / marketing positions at Apple, Intel + Levi Strauss & Co. Currently, I freelance for companies big + small on all sorts of fabulous stuff, assembling powerful creative collectives along the way. By moonlight, colorful décorista, doting mama + published writer. A curious, originative, intuitive thinker and team wrangler, I am always open to new ideas, creative collaborations + new ways of working in this glocal world of ours so let's chat!
more about me
- THE BACKSTORY: first full of wanderlust (traveled near + afar as advertising maven). then baby lust (designed a line of infant apparel + became a mom). now i just lust...for oh-so-many things home. WHY BLOG? after transplanting from san francisco to cleveland and back, i'm here to share my design finds, entertaining dish, "green" things, do-it-yourself tips + musings. WHAT'S NEW? continuing for 2011, more music discovery via "note it." yep, random stuff i like. after all, music is a touchpoint of everyday life. take a quick peek or stay for awhile...i am tickled pink (or persimmon or puce) that you are here. in life, love + décor - enjoy!
the other me (marketer me)
- my other current gig: platypus designer duct tape
- my current gig: the god box project brand launch with mary lou quinlan
- my previous gig: McGuire Furniture Company, part of Kohler Interiors Group (luxury furnishings)
- my other blog: hello, i'm lissa lowe! (read more about my fab-o career in advertising + branding + marketing as well as client list)
- my side project: "tassels & tulle" - created brand identity + photography for darling handcrafted, small biz

plant a tree with me
- on behalf of each of my spruce [décor] clients, i will donate life-giving trees in memory of my mom, mary. she was my role model in life and love (not to mention a fantastic DIY decorator). why trees? good for the environment + humanity. the circle of life will continue with every seed planted....mom will always be a part of our earth.
