beautiful carolina herrera jr. in her mom's fall 2010 ad campaign....gorgeous - the dress, the zebra and her!

anyway, this ad got me thinking about a little trip that i took with my hubby + son to "safari west." located outside of san francisco near calistoga in napa valley, this place is really neat (especially since traveling to africa on an abercrombie + kent safari isn't budget-friendly right now...).
we stayed overnight in an upscale, eco-friendly tent cabin + viewed giraffes from our porch from dawn to dusk. we also enjoyed an open-air bbq at night - and brought in our own wine from a tasting at clos pegase earlier that day. the whole experience very cool....
the highlight, we took a safari jeep around the grounds to see animals up close and personal. the giraffes and zebras really are gorgeous. there is even a caged cheetah too.
no wonder animal prints are so big for fall! (see these eco-friendly jungle prints from rubie green.)
p.s. i am salivating for the elizabeth and james "cheetah" jacket that i spied over at neiman marcus. if only i had a few spare pennies...sigh. in the meantime, i'm browsing other fun styles via shopstyle + found this cute faux fur "weekender" from milly. love this site - it's like having a personal shopper!
