walk this way!

they came, they saw, they were inducted.

last night, cleveland was rocking + rolling with "induction 2009." inductees included:

• jeff beck
• little anthony & the imperials
  
• metallica
• run-d.m.c. 
• bobby womack (cleveland born)

i'm sure the night was on fire!!! (i can't wait to get the scoop from my industry friend who was there, lucky dog!).

now this girl is partial to run-d.m.c. who doesn't just get pumped hearing their rendition of aerosmith's "walk this way" or their own mega hit "it's tricky"?

anyhoo, for those us not in attendance at the rock and roll hall of fame soiree, check out this rave review in today's new york times (the city where most inductions have taken place). 

perhaps cleveland is poised to receive the recognition that our hidden gem of a city deserves (enough already about being "the mistake on the lake," people be original!).
