it is a beauti-fall friday in cleveland. days like this call upon the kid in me. all I want to do is play outside.

it also reminds of one of my special college friends. even as the years tick, he never loses his youthfulness. his secret? his skateboard.

naturally when i spied these colorful bangles, i thought of him. handcrafted from "retired" skateboards by portland artisan lindsey jo holmes, each one is unique. you can actually see individual layers of wood on each bracelet. some even reveal board graphics.
