ruthie sommers....need i say more?

~ hickory for similar living room chippendale sofa with david hicks "la fiorentina" fabric at lee jofa.

~ faux coral sconces in living room at mecox gardens.

~ deep navy blue kitchen paint (swoon!) - benjamin moore "soot" and door in "poolside blue."

~ spray painted chandelier in kitchen from via chapman-radcliff home.

~ her living inspiration, this conch shell with its palette of soft pink, muted gray, creamy sand + dark brown. the yellow + orange accents "are rays of sunshine."

~ try ethan allen, crate+barrel for furniture and rosen+chadwick for textiles.

~ against a backdrop of rich chocolate brown paint, an orange sofa, turquoise chairs + jonathan adler greek key rug comfortably blend. really like the preppy piping on the arm chairs. and wish the artist of the dog painting had been cited...anyone know who?
