By moonlight, colorful décorista, doting mama + published writer. - THE BACKSTORY: first full of wanderlust (traveled near + afar as advertising maven). then baby lust (designed a line of infant apparel + became a mom). now i just lust...for oh-so-many things home. WHY BLOG? after transplanting from san francisco to cleveland and back, i'm here to share my design finds, entertaining dish, "green" things, do-it-yourself tips + musings. - on behalf of each of my spruce [décor] clients, i will donate life-giving trees in memory of my mom, mary. she was my role model in life and love (not to mention a fantastic DIY decorator). why trees? good for the environment + humanity. the circle of life will continue with every seed planted....mom will always be a part of our earth.
