i completely fancy this chalkboard paint from hudson paint. so brilliant!

DIY DÉCOR

soon, i plan to revamp a handmade pine dresser that my dad built for me when i was 16. over many years - from space to space + color to color - i have very much appreciated its craftsmanship and simple lines.

so much so that its next incarnation will be a dresser cum writing station for my three year old son, charlie. in fact, i let him choose his hue.

love that he picked three greens: "bakery green," "oil spill" and "second prairie." now we have to narrow it down to his favorite (a tough decision for a wee one...).

either way, i'll chalk it up to his good taste!
