I need ideas on how to get my daughter's doodle designs published on cloth or paper goods. She is 45, an autism specialist by career and glass artist by hobby. Her designs are very rich. I have made note cards, but would like to know how to expand. Also, I have a great recipe for blue cheese dressing - welcome to the midwest! Sally
thank you for your note. you may want to talk to local screen printing companies who may offer art/file management services (i.e., scanning art, color correction). they would bid the job for screen printing the shirts too - either using their shirts (etc.) or the ones that you've sourced. another route for you is to use Cafe Press: http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/sell/ hope this helps! lissa p.s. would love to try your recipe. please post it. yum!
By day, award-winning bi-coastal brand architect at Lissa Lowe & Co. Formerly held global advertising / marketing positions at Apple, Intel + Levi Strauss & Co. Currently, I freelance for companies big + small on all sorts of fabulous stuff, assembling powerful creative collectives along the way. By moonlight, colorful décorista, doting mama + published writer. A curious, originative, intuitive thinker and team wrangler, I am always open to new ideas, creative collaborations + new ways of working in this glocal world of ours so let's chat!
THE BACKSTORY: first full of wanderlust (traveled near + afar as advertising maven). then baby lust (designed a line of infant apparel + became a mom). now i just lust...for oh-so-many things home. WHY BLOG? after transplanting from san francisco to cleveland and back, i'm here to share my design finds, entertaining dish, "green" things, do-it-yourself tips + musings. WHAT'S NEW? continuing for 2011, more music discovery via "note it." yep, random stuff i like. after all, music is a touchpoint of everyday life. take a quick peek or stay for awhile...i am tickled pink (or persimmon or puce) that you are here. in life, love + décor - enjoy!
need interior styling ideas? locally or virtually. let's chat. reach me at: info@sprucedecor.com
plant a tree with me
on behalf of each of my spruce [décor] clients, i will donate life-giving trees in memory of my mom, mary. she was my role model in life and love (not to mention a fantastic DIY decorator). why trees? good for the environment + humanity. the circle of life will continue with every seed planted....mom will always be a part of our earth.
pardon the formality as it's a necessary evil...all images + content (c) 2010, lissa lowe, unless otherwise noted. unauthorized use of images or content without permission is prohibited. please contact me with any questions. kind thanks + happy reading!
