TABLETOP TUESDAY - "beach glass"

i was recently working on a styling project for a client of mine who lives in a little cottage in the woods in asheville, north carolina. she is both passionate about the environment (loves trees!) and a beach girl at heart.

while creating an "inspiration board" for her, this windowsill of repurposed bottles in greens and blues really spoke to me...and to her too. there's something peaceful about them in form + hue. so much so, i wanted to find an affordable solution for her to recreate the look in case she can't locate such beauties at her local flea or on ebay.

a stroke a luck (or rather a few keystrokes on my trusty mac) took me to rosanna where i spied these wonderful earth-friendly "beach glass" bottles. handmade in mexico from 100% recycled glass, they look as if they were organically shaped by the sea.

they'd be lovely in a window, countertop or tabletop. i don't know about you, but i'm instantly calmed gazing at them....

Lissa - this was one of my fave "spruce" ideas. I love that you captured my style (in a way that I haven't in 40 years of living with myself!) from just a few photographs and emails. You are truly gifted. I also love that you stayed true to that style and my budget in your ideas. Looking forward to working with you more in the coming months!
