TABLETOP TUESDAY - how 'bout those cherries...

it started raining yesterday around noon. seeking comfort food during these cloudy hours, charlie and i made oatmeal raisin cookies. while our final batch was baking, the sun began to shine. a glorious day at last!

as we headed outside, i tossed a few cherries onto our cookie plate + i ended up with this delicious photo op.

it just goes to show you how gorgeous a garnish can be for tabletop eats or back porch treats.

yummmm....
