SATURDAY'S SPOONFUL - a small dose of sugar, spice + everything nice

when i pulled the latest j. crew catalog of my mailbox, i gasped at its beautifully styled cover. i simply had to share it.

investigating further, i noticed this one-of-a-kind handmade flower was used as a prop for the shoot only.

it's so "carrie bradshaw" and pinned on an anorak...brilliant.

(i assume it's only a matter of time before j. crew starts selling these beauties as it would seem silly not to do so...)

in the meantime, i did a quick etsy search + found something similar from thailand's nijjavier. 

this lovely is made from soft pink and brown organza + studded with swarovski crystal and beads.

i bet if you convo'd her she could fashion a corsage for you (and for $14.99, i'd say it's worth a quick email!)

effortless elegance, i think.
