bunch of blossoms

being a southern girl, i couldn't resist showing this lovely new work by maine's kari herer.

aren't these magnolia blossoms photographed atop vintage floral and insect illustrations brilliant?

simply framed with a mat in soft white or a pale hue to play off the subtle tones in the flowers (like butter, stem, taupe or greige), i could see one hung solo, as a pair or in artful groups of 3s or 4s.

classic but yet quirky, these prints would be an elegant addition to a bedroom, bathroom, hallway or living room.

with a magnolia, no two blossoms are alike. get yours (or perhaps a belated mother's day gift) at kari's shop on etsy.
