MAKEOVER MONDAY - atchoo! tissue?

with cold season knocking on my front door, i thought this post was apropos.

now i don't know about you, but i'm not a big fan of tissue boxes. despite efforts by kleenex and puffs to beautify their boxes, they still aren't up to snuff. however, these découpaged boxes by etsy's fondue are.

covered in vintage wallpapers mostly from the 1930s to the 1960s, box + switch plate designs range from the "super kitschy" (like the this veggie print tissue box i purchased at renegade handmade in chicago) to "kinda classy." you'll find patterns that are girlie, flowery, folksy, country, colonial and equine.

their sister shop, fondue jr., also has in fun kiddie motifs like "bunny ho-down," "bronco bustin' cowboy" + "lion in a sweater vest."

now if only these southern folks from grinder's switch, tennessee (don't 'cha love this town's name?) sold these repurposed papers by the roll. i'd buy in bulk!
