MAKEOVER MONDAY - trees, please

this year i planted trees on behalf of my spruce décor clients...my way of giving back + celebrating the circle of life. 

my little family also decided to forgo a real tree for this year's holiday decor. our choice: a white spruce. 

similar to this "denali white christmas tree" from balsam hill, it is really fun faux, especially when we adorned it with large multi-colored bulbs. a little bit kitsch, i think.

why not plant a tree? 

why not fake a tree? 

enjoy both for years to come.
