SATURDAY'S SPOONFUL - a small dose of sugar, spice + everything nice

these napkins make me happy.

originally designed by a busy working mom who wanted to reach out to her nine year old daughter with a loving message each day (especially after she learned her daughter was being ostracized in the school cafeteria...), a daily napkin note became their ritual.

taking the idea further, this entrepreneurial mom coined the phrase "for hands and hearts" and launched happy napkins for all to enjoy.

bundles of three packages are sold online. each package contains (12) two-ply white dinner napkins with uplifting greetings on the inside. messages like "you are a shining star" or "i love you just the way you are."

while some may find such affirmations too sappy, i find them a bit charming + very "louise hay."

honestly, who wouldn't feel a wee bit of glee to receive a heartwarming surprise after a stressful day of work?

remember the Grinch....
