mushroom mania! (day 1)

"mushroom mania" begins...

having lived in both northern california + the pacific northwest for many years, i was fortunate to feast on fresh mushrooms each fall....porcinis, candy caps, hedgehogs, black trumpets, chanterelles (even the names are fabulous!)

to kick off this year's foraging season, i will share all sorts of 'shroomy stuff over the next week or so.
