ice cream "sunday"

midwest must: i LOVE jeni's in columbus, ohio. hand-crafted in small batches, this artisanal treat is second-to-none. last time i was in short north, i selected a double scoop of cherry lambic sorbet and strawberry buttermilk ice cream. the sorbet is an award winning combo of tart red cherries and lindeman's kriek lambic (a dry beer from brussels). a little bit sour, a little bit sweet, lusciously colored...absolutely delish! the ice cream was also worth the wait. fresh strawberries with a hint of buttermilk. yum....
